After staying at Graduate New York for Christmas, my experience was delightful overall. the view from our room on the 13th floor was simply breathtaking, offering a unique perspective of the city. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated with a modern touch. Despite NY standards, there was ample space for our luggage and the room felt spacious. the atmosphere in the lobby was vibrant, adding to the beauty of the hotel and the serenity of Roosevelt Island itself. Although some reviews mentioned issues with cleanliness, our room was cleaned regularly without us needing to request it. the option to choose room cleaning services was a great feature, allowing us to tailor our experience to our liking. However, the restaurant fell short in terms of food quality, especially during breakfast service. We found the offerings to be lacking and not up to par with the hotel's other amenities. Being away from the hustle and bustle of the city center, on a slower and more peaceful island, provided a different perspective of New York City. Easy access to busy areas via the subway and cable tram made exploring convenient and enjoyable. Overall, Graduate New York is a unique and charming hotel that I would consider staying at again. the attentive staff, cozy room, and stunning views made our Christmas stay a memorable one. I would recommend this hotel to those looking for a serene retreat in the heart of NYC.
